WHAT IS A CATALYTIC CONVERTER?

Three-way catalytic converter: consists of ceramic or metal monoliths, usually 200-400-600 cells, coated with precious metals and PGM (pt: pd: rh).

Toxic gases formed from HC, CO, NOx are converted to H2O, CO2, N2 which are harmless to the environment.

WHAT IS CATALYSIS?

Catalyst are substances that increase the reaction rate by decreasing the activation energy of a chemical reaction and do not change the chemical structure after the reaction. This change that the catalyst makes on the reaction is called catalysis.

WHAT IS A CATALYST?

Catalysts are substances that accelerate chemical reactions without the need for an increase in temperature. In order for the reactions to take place, the molecules that react must crash.

These reactions are done through precious metals and PGM (PT: PD: RH).
